Tom Caraccioli is a communications veteran having previously worked at NBC Sports, USA Network, Turner Sports, as well as serving as vice president of communications for Outdoor Sportsman Group (Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network) and his current role at Insite Marketing Source and Lions Roar. He has been working in communications for nearly 30 years after starting his career with the Boston Red Sox.
Tom’s communications career is grounded in developing strong professional, business and media relationships, along with strategic thinking and execution and leadership. Along the way, he has steered high-profile media relations and communications initiatives in professional business, sports, television, education and publishing. He also has managed all aspects of messaging and deliverance in today’s non-stop media environment. Tom has counseled high-profile talent, politicians, executives, organized and coordinated national media events, appeared on national television as a spokesperson and has been quoted in most of the country’s major metropolitan newspapers.
Tom also has co-authored two Olympic-themed books with his identical twin brother Jerry. Regional bestseller Striking Silver: The Untold Story of America’s Forgotten Hockey Team was published in 2006 and BOYCOTT: Stolen Dreams of the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games was published with acclaim
While at NBC/USA he worked on events such as the Masters®, Ryder Cup, U.S. Open Tennis Championships, French Open and 2004 Olympic Summer Games. At Turner Sports, Tom worked on the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, NBA All-Star Game, Playoffs and Finals, PGA Championship and Major League Baseball Division and League Championship Series, as well as NASCAR.
